Review & Giveaway: Betty Crocker Gift Set

Betty Crocker Loaded Mashed Potatoes : ecoMomicalMe.com

I had the privilege of trying the NEW Betty Crocker Loaded Mashed Potatoes!

The NEW Betty Crocker “Loaded Mashed” potatoes are made with 100% real russet potatoes, and a blend of real seasonings and natural flavors like bacon, cheese, chives, and sour cream and can be prepared in just 8 minutes!

First I have to say this experiment is just for my friend Jenni, who until recently only used instant mashed potatoes! I recently gave her my homemade mashed potato recipe to try as I ONLY make homemade mashed potatoes. That being said Betty Crocker wasn’t given a fair chance since we almost never use homemade mashed potatoes.

The other night I pulled some meatloaf out of the freezer to make for dinner and I needed a quick side to make (since we where outside enjoying the beautiful weather!) So I decided to give the Betty Crocker Loaded mashed potatoes a try since I just didn’t have the time to make homemade mashed potatoes!

I do have to say the potatoes were full of flavor, but my daughter put it best when she said, “no one makes mashed potatoes like mommy!” (No I didn’t pay her to say that, but she did get brownies for dessert that night! :) )

In summary, I do not think these are as good as my homemade mashed potatoes but they were a great alternative for a quick side dish with our meatloaf and corn! What meal would you most like to try with Betty Crocker’s Loaded Mashed Potatoes?

All ecoMomical Me readers can print a coupon for $0.55 off one box of new Betty Crocker “Loaded Mashed” potatoes!
