Dutch Apple Pie

1 Prepared Pie Crust
1 Can Cinnamon Apples
1 Apple Crisp Topping

  1. Poke bottom of thawed crust with fork.
  2. Bake according to directions. (I believe I baked the crust for about 10 minutes.)
  3. Empty 1 quart jar of cinnamon apples into pie crust.
  4. Add Apple Crisp Topping.
  5. Bake at 450° until topping is lightly browned, about 30-45 minutes.

Average Cost: $4.50

I use Marie Callender’s frozen pie crust and prepare according to the directions. My husband told me that he thinks I have Marie Callender beat! You can save even more money by making your own pie crust. Typically everyone has the topping ingredients on hand and cost can be hard to factor but I would estimate my cost for the entire apple pie with a prepared pie crust was about $4.50.
