Do you know the best way to freeze ground beef? I used to just throw the meat while still in the Styrofoam plate and wrapped in plastic straight into the freezer. Then it would take forever to thaw and can you say freezer burn! Then I learned how to “file freeze”!
When you are ready to use the meat, simply take out of the freezer and thaw at room temperature for a couple of hours or in the refrigerator over night. I stock up on ground beef and freeze when it is $1.99 or less per pound.Tweet
