Homemade Soft Scrub

cleaning : ecoMomicalMe.com

It’s time for more Spring Cleaning tips! Today we are going to look at a Green recipe for Homemade Soft Scrub.

Homemade Soft Scrub

3/4 cup Baking Soda
1/4 cup Castile Soap
1 Tablespoon Water
1 Tablespoon Vinegar

  1. Combine Baking Soda and Castile Soap.
  2. Add Water to mixture and stir with a fork.
  3. Add Vinegar and stir to get a paste-like consistency.

Stacy notes that the Vinegar must go in last to get the right consistency and the mixture will fizz some once the vinegar is added.

UPDATE: I have used Seventh Generation Dish Soap in place of Castile Soap and it worked great. I’m not sure if the following message applies to all soaps or just castile? According to the source you should not use vinegar and castille soap together, it causes the soap to unsaponify.
