Homemade Swiffer WetJet Pad Refills

I have a Swiffer WetJet that I use for a quick clean-up when I don’t have time to get out our steam mop. So instead of buying new pads for the WetJet I just use one of our washable steam mop pads! I have also heard of using microfiber wash clothes, cloth diapers and feminine pads as your WetJet pad refill.

Homemade Swiffer WetJet Cleaning Solution Refill

1. Place your WetJet Refill upside down in a glass of pipping hot water for 5 minutes. This will help loosen the seal.
2. Twist cap off. (The first time may be a little difficult.)
3. Using a funnel fill container with 1 1/2 cups of Vinegar and 1 1/2 cups of hot water.
4. Replace cap and insert into your Swiffer WetJet!

Not only is this quick, easy and cheap but it is also a green choice for the environment!
