RECIPE: Chicken Broth

Recipe Chicken Broth

Chicken Broth

Left over Chicken scraps
1 – onion
2 – whole carrots
2 – ribs of celery
6 – 8 garlic cloves
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
parsley

  1. Combine all ingredients in stock pot.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 4 hours.
  4. Remove bones, skin & large veggies.
  5. Strain through colindar.
  6. Laddle into small freezer safe containers. (you can also can the broth)
  7. Label & freeze!

To Freeze:

Place in freezer safe containers leaving 1/2″ head space. Frozen chicken broth is good for up to 3 months.
