This is the easiest recipe I have ever attempted! Up until this point I have never tried tilapia and have never been a big fan of fish. Then I finally worked up the nerve to try it and boy am I sad that I waited so long! Now I still am not a big fan of fish, but this recipe was so easy, very inexpensive and it taste pretty good… for a piece of fish that is!

Here is the frugal breakdown:

16 oz Frozen Tilapia fillets – $3.99 @ Meijer
Mrs Dash Seasoning – $0.50 (after sale & coupons at Meijer)
Butter – FREE (@ Meijer)

Total Cost: $4.49 and there are roughly 4-6 fillets in a 16 oz bag depending on their size.

This taste best if you use real butter in my opinion but either way this is the best way to prepare tilapia.

If you have a Kroger near you, they have bags of Tilapia for BIG1 free!! Get two bags (about 5 pieces per bag) for $5.99 or 3 bucks each! Compare and see which is cheaper. But this is a good deal. Thanks for the recipe.
