Book Review: A Slice of Organic Life

A Slice of Organic Life

I recently read the book A Slice of Organic Life. This is a great book for anyone beginning the go green journey. Wither you live in a tiny studio apartment or a large rural farm, you’ll find ideas to go green. This book is divided into 3 main chapters based on your living conditions.

  1. No Need for a Yard
  2. Roof Terrace, Patio, or Tiny Yard
  3. Yard, Community Garden, or Field

Learn how to make bread or grow herbs in a window sill to growing and caring for raspberry bushes or even raising your own livestock! This book has it all!

I feel this book presents ideas in a very simplistic way that it is easy for anyone to follow. Green ideas are given with some explanations as to why, but without causing you to have to get out a dictionary to read about what you just read! Information is presented in a simple straight forward minimalist approach which I think is great for people just beginning their go green journey! I highly recommend this book for new “greenies”!
