Ultra Pads – Natracare Ultra pads are made from only certified organic 100% cotton and renewable and sustainable plant cellulose. They are totally plastic-free, and like all Natracare products, are totally chlorine-free.
Maxi Pads – Natracare Maxi pads are contoured to comfortably fit the shape of your body. The soft, fluffy, absorbent core, made from totally chlorine free pulp, quickly absorbs the menstrual fluid and locks it away so that the soft cover allows your skin to breath while at the same time keeping you dry.
Tampons – Natracare tampons are made from only certified organic 100% cotton and were the world’s first fully certified organic cotton tampons. They are non-chlorine bleached and do not contain synthetic materials, such as rayon, or chemical additives such as binders or surfactants. You can get Natracare tampons with or without an applicator.
Panty liners – Natracare liners are made with certified organic cotton and totally chlorine-free, plant cellulose and are plastic free to allow your delicate skin to breathe and stay dry.
Cleansing Cloths – Natracare’s soft cleansing wipes are designed for women to use as part of their daily intimate hygiene, especially during menstruation and as an extra convenience when travelling. My thoughts on Natracare
First I would like to say if we were a studio audience I would ask everyone to give Natracare a standing ovation for their determination in providing the healthiest and most responsible disposable feminine care products on the market!!! (Clap! Clap! Clap!) If you have been following this blog you will know about my take on GMOs and toxic pesticides, so I was thrilled to know that Natracare uses Non-GMO organic cotton! I was given the chance to try some of the Natracare products and found that they were not much different than conventional feminine care products. The liners and pads are much thinner than other products I have used, and may require more frequent changing but I really think I can deal with that over the use of toxic trash liners and pads. I could not detect a single difference in the Natracare tampons with applicator compared to conventional cardboard applicator tampons and the Natracare cloths are superb! They did their job and helped protect my most delicate parts! I would highly recommend Natracare products for all of my readers!

To have my third child and my older has just begun using feminine products. I do not want her exposed to anything bad for her. We would love to try the pads, any type would be great.
Natracare is a great company, and their panty liners and non-applicator tampons (their products I’ve tried) are absolutely as good as Lightdays and o.b. However, I can’t agree that they sell the “most responsible feminine care products on the market.” They are a big improvement over mainstream disposables, but they still make a pile of trash.
Consider a reusable menstrual cup or washable pads. In my experience, they work better and are more comfortable than any disposable product.
Becca I should clarify when I stated ‘most responsible feminine care products on the market’ I was referring to disposables. I will edit the post to include that. Thank you for pointing that out!
