The Keeper Menstrual Cup Review & Giveaway

The Keeper

I am ending the month with one more great option for women to use during their menstrual cycle, The Keeper! If you haven’t gotten to read my article regarding Feminine Care & Your Potential Health Risks, please take the time to read this valuable information. Once again I am going to say STOP! Before you say Ewww! and click away (like I used to think), let me encourage you to just read this post with an open mind, gain some knowledge and consider the possibilities!

The Keeper Menstrual Cup

The Keeper is a menstrual cup made of natural gum rubber or latex that is inserted into the vagina just below the cervix and collects your menstrual flow. It can be wore overnight and should be emptied & rinsed every 8-12 hours. With proper care The Keeper can last for up to 10 years!!! That means that not only are you reducing waste but you are also saving a lot of money!

The Keeper vs disposable pads & tampons

The Keeper comes in two sizes: A - for after birth and B – for before birth (or after C-section). It is made in the USA and FDA approved. The Keeper also offers a 3 month guarantee. So if you’re not sure about the cup you can buy it, try it and if you don’t like it you can return it at your place of purchase as long as you meet the required criteria. If you are sensitive to rubber or latex then The Keeper Inc also offers a medical grade silicon cup called The Moon Cup.

My thoughts on The Keeper

I LOVE IT! It does take a few cycles to get used to using a menstrual cup, but once you figure it out it’s smooth sailing! No worrying about running out of tampons in the middle of your cycle and no worries about the potentially harmful chemicals that you may be exposed to as with conventional tampons! I feel great knowing that I am helping reduce waste and am saving money!!! A menstrual cup is a MUST HAVE for every menstruating women!
